Lacking Univ. of Pittsburgh pupil believed to have died by drowning in Dominican Republic

A College of Pittsburgh pupil who was reported lacking after touring to the Dominican Republic final week is believed to have died by drowning, officers confirmed to ABC Information on Sunday.

The scholar has been recognized as Sudiksha Konanki, a authorized everlasting resident of the US and an Indian citizen. She was one among six feminine college students touring in Punta Cana, based on the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Workplace.

Konanki and one of many different college students had been Loudoun County, Virginia, residents, the sheriff’s workplace stated.
