Man dies after being attacked by his personal canine in upstate NY

A person who was attacked by his personal canine at his house has died, in accordance with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Workplace.

Emergency responders have been known as to a residence on Kendall Street in Riga, New York, round 8:20 p.m. Monday, when it was reported {that a} man was attacked by his canine, stated sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Brendan Hurley.

Richard L. Dambrowski, 46, suffered “vital bodily trauma” to his face and neck from the encounter, which occurred inside the home, Hurley stated.

Dambrowski was pronounced lifeless on the scene, Hurley stated.

The Humane Society of Larger Rochester’s humane regulation enforcement workforce responded to the house and euthanized the canine, an American pit bull terrier, Hurley stated.

Based on his obituary, Dambrowski was an avid photographer and liked air exhibits. He was survived by his mom, sisters and different family members, in accordance with his obituary.

“Our honest condolences to the household and associates of Mr. Dambrowski,” Hurley stated.
