3 Orange County ladies arrested after police discover over $12,000 value of stolen merchandise

Three ladies had been arrested after police discovered over $12,000 value of stolen merchandise in Orange County.

The suspects had been recognized as:

Sara Alexandru, 18, of Backyard Grove

Simara Ghiocel, 19, of Westminster

Sara Mihalaiche, 19, of Backyard Grove

On June 30, license plate readers alerted Irvine police to a van that was used to hold out a retail theft from an Ulta Magnificence retailer in Los Angeles.

Officers situated the van exiting the Alton Sq. procuring heart and started following it. The suspects finally pulled over in a neighborhood, exited the van and fled on foot.

Physique cam footage that was blurred by police confirmed officers monitoring down the ladies as they hid in several spots all through the neighborhood. They had been taken into custody.

Contained in the van, police discovered over $12,500 value of stolen merchandise from a number of retail shops in Irvine, Santa Ana and Costa Mesa.

The ladies had been booked on the Orange County Jail on a number of prices together with organized retail theft, grand theft and housebreaking.
