Also called the Hamilton Fish Recreation Middle, this constructing is situated on Pitt Road, on the Decrease East Facet in Manhattan. It’s named for the nineteenth-century American statesman who served as governor of New York, a U.S. senator, and secretary of state. Designed in 1898 and constructed between 1898 and 1900 by the architectural agency Carrère and Hastings, the constructing is an instance of French Beaux-Arts structure.

It’s a New York Metropolis Landmark.
