Police have launched a homicide investigation following the loss of life of a person who was left in a important situation after violence broke out in a village.
Anthony “Tony” Jones, 56, from Brecon suffered life-threatening accidents in an incident to which Gwent Police firearms officers have been known as in Pontnewynydd, close to Pontypool, on Thursday.
The pressure stated seven males aged 31, 39, 40, 45, 59, 61, and 73 had been arrested in connection to “dysfunction” and all seven remained in police custody.

Officers have appealed for anybody with data, CCTV or dashcam footage from the world between 19:00 and 19:30 BST to contact them.
On Saturday police stated following Jones’s loss of life officers investigating the report of “violent dysfunction” have been now conducting a homicide investigation.
They stated his household have been being supported by specialist officers.
Det Ch Supt Anne-Marie Salwey stated: “We’re making an attempt to determine the actions of these concerned each earlier than and after the dysfunction and are asking motorists who have been driving alongside Hospital Highway, Mill Highway and the encompassing areas between 6pm and 9pm on Thursday to verify their dashcam footage.”
