EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 30-year-old lady was arrested after a hit-and-run crash final week in Horizon, in line with Horizon Metropolis Police Division.
Amanda Gloria Portillo, 30, was charged with collision involving injury to car. She was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with a $2,500 bond.

Shortly earlier than 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, officers had been dispatched to the intersection of Horizon Boulevard and Ashford Road to a report of a hit-and-run crash.
The sufferer informed officers that their car was struck from behind with one other car, which fled the scene. The sufferer had a video of the suspected car fleeing the world and offered officers with an outline of the car and driver, later recognized as Portillo.
Through the investigation, officers positioned the car at a residence alongside the 12900 block of Barnard Highway. The car had seen front-end injury, per the reported crash.
Officers tried to make contact on the residence, however nobody responded. The car was then impounded to “protect potential proof” associated to the crash, Horizon Metropolis police stated.
Portillo later arrived on the Horizon Metropolis Police Division and reported her involvement within the hit-and-run crash.
